Boolean Searching on the Internet

My previous search on Google was “Beauty Tips” which returned 38,400,000 results. However, using the Boolean Searching methods I searched “Beauty and Tips” through Google which returned a much larger result of 81,100,000 hits. Surprisingly, the results were exactly what I was looking for! Because there were so many results I thought a lot of the them wouldn’t be relevant, however they were.

  1. Hi Chantelle,
I just read your post from a few weeks ago in the NET11 discussion board about your Blog (sorry, I'm a bit behind!). I really like the look of your blog, especially your pics!

Re the searching. I'm with you, I really like Google! I almost always find what I am looking for with Google, so have never had the need to use other search engines. With these tasks I did also use Copernic, Copernic Basic Agent, Clusty and Windows Live, but I found Google the best....
